Most people expect a financial coach to have a "perfect" record. But here’s the reality: In my 20s, even with a Finance degree in my hand, I was losing.
I bought a house before I was ready. I let "dumb" daily purchases turn into a mountain of credit card debt. I had the head knowledge, but I didn't have a game plan. I was living without a budget, without a goal, and honestly—without much hope of changing the score.

Before I became a financial coach, I spent years as a High School Football Coach. In football, it doesn't matter how bad the first half went; what matters is the adjustment you make in the locker room.
I realized I needed a "Second Round." I needed to stop acting like the owner of my money and start acting like the manager of what God had entrusted to me. I applied the same discipline I taught my players on the field to my own bank account.
